Tree Service in Klein

A farming community on Cypress Creek long before the subdivisions came, where acreage, old homesteads and new lots sit side by side.

German immigrants settled a farming community called Big Cypress on Cypress Creek in the 1840s. Adam Klein and his wife Friederika arrived in 1854, a post office opened on Spring-Cypress Road in 1884, and in 1938 the community’s rural school district became Klein Independent School District.

Acreage calls

Klein still has pockets of larger lots between the subdivisions, and the tree work on them looks different. Lot clearing, fence-line clearing, deadfall that has piled up for years, and single big trees in the middle of a pasture or a yard with nothing else near them.

An isolated tree with room around it is one of the few cases where a crew may be able to fell it whole instead of taking it down in sections, which can make it a very different price from the same tree next to a house. The company decides that on site.

Before clearing a Klein acreage

  • Mark the trees that stay and keep machines off their root zones.
  • Locate the septic field and any water well lines.
  • Ask whether the company will request 811 marks before stumps come out.
  • Ask where the brush goes: chipped on site, hauled, or piled.

Klein Tree Request

Say roughly how big the lot is and what should stay standing.
