Tree Service in Augusta Pines

A golf community in 77389 laid out around fairways lined with tall pines, where the trees between the houses and the course are part of the view and part of the risk.

Augusta Pines Golf Club, at 18 Augusta Pines Drive in Spring (77389), is an 18-hole public course designed by Tour 18, Inc. across 400 acres, described by its listing as featuring stately pine trees and lakes.

Pines on the fairway side

On a course-side lot, the tallest trees are often at the back line, between the house and the fairway. Some are on the lot; some are on course property. Before calling about a pine on that line, work out which side of the boundary it is on; a tree on course land is the course’s to deal with.

The pines themselves follow the pattern on the pine and oak guide: a fading crown, pitch tubes and boring dust mean the tree should be looked at soon. A tall dead pine near a house and a fairway has two directions it can fall.

Getting equipment in

Course-side lots can be hard to reach from the street, and the course side is not always an option. Ask the company how it plans to get equipment to the back of the lot, whether it needs to cross anyone else’s property, and what that means for the price.

If a pine is on or near a wire, call CenterPoint Energy before a tree crew.

Augusta Pines Tree Request

Say whether the tree is on the fairway side, and how the crew can get to it.
